    hi ,

I am new to gardening. I need some tips on planting flowers, bushes, succulents and herbs on my Patio.

I live in downtown part of Toronto which has harsh winters from November to February.

My condo is at 21st flower and gets direct sunlight from 1 till sunset.

Can you help me what varieties of plant I can start with?

Hi & welcome! I'd be happy to offer some suggestions but I need some help with my confusion first, so I don't get into an area that does not match your goals. Are you wanting permanent plants that you can take inside when it gets too cold? Temporary summer decor? Plants hardy enough to stay outside in pots all year?

The topic brought back some of my best memories growing up. :) Long afternoons spent sipping lemonade and reading my favorite comics. Evening were spent with my grandfather telling us very 'tall' tales! Sorry if I'm not talking plants, but my mother's patio was beautiful and green!

Welcome to GardenStew Pankhuri. Our members are very knowledgeable and will be able to help you out. Do let us know which plants you get and maybe a photograph or two when they're in place.:)
