Peonies are the plant that started my love of gardening many years ago.
This 'Festiva Maxima' bloom is huge, the same size if not bigger than my hand.

Not sure the name of this one, but it was given to me from a friends grandmothers garden

I think this one is 'Adrienne'

    Another gifted Peony

The Peony on the left is the one from my mothers backyard, a family heirloom, that I have passed on the my daughter as well. It is HUGE

I'm always sad when the Peony blooms are done and look forward to the next spring

Gorgeous peony display. Your lawn looks good too with the islands of planting. i have always thought that your yard and gardens were so well executed.
