Planting tulip bulbs in August

    Have you ever planted tulip bulbs in the month of August?

    Nope, they would be killed by the continuing warm weather. October or November is better here.

    One year I had a request to plant 200 tulip bulbs in a public garden. A Walmart sold tulip bulbs that August. I began to plant tulip bulbs in August. They all flowered okay the next Spring.
