    Hi,

What are the best indoor plants for winter time that don't need much care and will add some color to the room ?

    Thanks in advance

Snake plants require almost no care.

I can kill just about any indoor plant, I guess because I don't tend to them everyday like I do for my outdoor plants in nice weather. I did have a snake plant that someone gave us, my husband took it to work one year and I think too many people were watering it...

I tried those air plants and sure enough, they died..I tried rosemary in the house because it smells so good and those died... Good Luck with adding some color to the room, I guess I will stick to pillows, etc.

10 years ago I had the perfect place for violets, the lighting was right and I walked by them every day, they were beautiful. You should water those from the bottom. They get pretty flowers on them if they like the area.

What did you decide? Did you get some house plants?
