I have to brag about this one.
Did poorly over winter (well, it was a cold and dark place for months), but I trimmed it almost to the ground and look what it's doing now.
Looks like it enjoys the cool nights and even days (when cloudy and rainy).
I am sure for most of you it's an invasive climber...but for me, it's a beauty!

Well. That plant and flower is beautiful. I have not seen that one yet. I take it that you bring that in for the Winter. Right?

Beautiful blooms. They remind me of my Esperanza (except in yellow).
Congrats on finally getting to do well and bloom.

    I am proud!
Yes, in a pot, inside in winter.
Other than that, not too fussy.

Very nice Calin! I am not familiar with it. Does it have a common name? I love the flowers.
I love growing vines, and am not afraid to try one that has a potential to be invasive.
A couple examples : Ampelopsis, and Sweet Autumn Clematis,. I just keep pruning, and reminding them who the boss is! ;)

    Thanks Kay.
    Funny common names

    Pink Trumpet Vine,
    Port St. Johns Creeper,
    Zimbabwe Creeper,
    Queen of Sheba,
    Port John’s Creeper

Well, if you've got cold winters you'd only be able to grow this one in a pot.
So no chance of becoming invasive :)
