Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I have recently purchased some Portulaca seeds, and hopefully going to be purchasing more plants, different kinds, wave petunias, dragon wings, etc.

I've ordered these seeds 3-4 days ago, hopefully they arrive soon, I'm wondering if I can plant these seeds in flats inside. I have an indoor/outdoor greenhouse, I just set it up inside about 10 minutes ago.

Would these portulaca seeds be good enough to grow inside? With a light shining over the greenhouse.

    Thanks guys!

    Jordan.

    Hi Jordan.. and welcome.
I've never tried any of those plants from seed since they are so inexpensive to buy as "small" plants.
I sure hope you let us know how your venture turns out.

They are easy to grow. I winter sow mine and transplant. They are also self-sowers for me.

I like them because there are so many colors and they reseed all over the place :-D I've never ordered seeds, just bought the little starters and they don't waste any time!
