do I have a problem?? something, possibly birds, are eating blossoms off my potatoes. will this affect tuber growth.
Potato blossoms are ephemeral. They very often drop off. It is quite hard to get fruits from potatoes. Normally about a month after the blossoms drop, your potatoes will be ready to harvest. No it won't affect your harvest.
The potatoes will grow anyway ! You can look now for new potatoes and take a few if you wish ! Just take your finger and feel around ! Usually you can see where they are growing on top of the soil !
