praying mantis

    While I was taking pictures of the little tree I saw a praying mantis. Unfortunately I only got a shadow.

    dr says it's not a shadow but a great enlargement. Whatever, it makes a good picture.

    We have all heard about everything in Texas being bigger but did you have to prove that giant Texas Praying Mantis exist? I hope they are only after the building.

    Fabulous photo Dooley... almost scary!
    I've been leery of Praying Mantis since I was young. My brothers always told me that if they spit in your eye, you'll go blind! :-o
    Come to think of it... they had me scared of all sorts of stuff.

    That does make for a good photo, Dooley. And as a fellow Texan, I thank you for proving that things do grow bigger here in the Lone Star State. Y'all oughta see our grasshoppers!
