Do you get " HOT " working out in the yard during the summer? Whats your favorite cool drink ? Do you buy pretty little glasses to drink your pretty little girly drinks?
Here's my choices with pics. You can include a pic of your favorite cool summer garden drink. Maybe you sit out on your patio at night after a really hot day working outside. Show us where you relax after a long hot day.

Those look good Kat! I don't get nearly that fancy! I like iced tea with LOTS of ice. When I'm ready for something a little "stiffer" and it's really hot out I like a "Fuzzy Navel" with LOTS of ice! And sometimes just a cold beer is perfect!

Oh Netty I knew I liked you! Sometimes a cold beer just hits the spot! :D
That coconut concoction looks dang good too! I love sweet tea but unfortunately you can't buy it in a restaurant out here! At home I just make my own. If anyone of you Southern Gals could give me a tip on the best way to make sweet tea I'd sure appreciate it!

Usually I drink sparkling water with slices of lemon or lime. For the weekend a chocolate martini in a beautiful glass is a given. What's better-the drink or the glass? Both, I think. 8)

One of the best things about the warm spring/summer weather is the great drinks you get to have on the weekends and after work sitting out on the deck (overlooking the pool - for me).

I love girlie drinks =) How good do these pomegranite sparklers look (the recipe is on bhg.com) Think I will try them this weekend!!!

Deanna, I use a Mr. Coffee Ice Tea Pot, two Lipton Ice Tea brew Family size tea bags. When brewing in the Ice Tea pot, put about 1/4 cup sugar (more if you want it really sweet) in the pitcher, let the hot tea thoroughly dissolve the sugar before adding ice or more water to the pitcher.
I think the real difference in the taste of the iced tea is using Lipton Ice Tea Brew bags. We have tried other brands which shall remain nameless :-D but they just can't compare to Lipton.

Thanks Toni! I'd sure love to be working outside, planting seeds and flowers drinking sweet tea but we woke up to snow on the ground this morning

I agree with Toni. The trick is to let the hot tea melt the sugar before adding more water or ice.

I don't know if this qualifies as pretty, but it's pretty good. It's my favorite on a hot summers day, Gin & Tonic, of coarce a good cold Milwaukee beer does pretty well also.

And my favorite place is here.
