My eyes bulged when i spotted the offer of two 75 Litres bags of Potting Compost,..(4 Stone Bags) for just 12 Euro,..$15,..now that is cheap and even better getting it on my vouchers and having 11 Euro,..$14.4528 left over.

That's lovely! If my maths are correct... that would be 144 pounds total weight of potting compost. If my maths are incorrect, I'll take a red mark against it.

Seeing it likely that you are much closer to English type measure, I'll take that.

    OOhhhhh! That's gonna leave a mark! :D

Couldn't have happened to a better person--lots of potting compost for a good cause! Congratulations. I sure wish some of our stores had such rebates.

Great Bargin for you, Philip!. Now about that weight...it really depends on how much moisture is in the mix. I find that the more moisture in my mix the heavier it is

    Hi Carolyn,
they sell the bags sealed and the compost is fairly dry,..but still each weighed 4 Stone,..heavy enough to lift.
