I got the pump and ball valve put in today. It should not be long before I have it finished. I have to solder a couple more joints and install some clamps, then I will put the bottle tree on top.

I am anxious to see the tree installed and the fountain running. I love fountains with personality.

I've never seen a bottle tree fountain before and I'm just waiting for the photographs of it. I have a feeling it's going to be beautiful!!! :-D

You should mooch some empty bottles of expensive wine from a local restaurant. Then your friends/family will think you spent truckloads on the design =).

Getting close. I finished soldering it together today, and put the bottles on it and filled it with water. It works !! All I need to do is a little adjusting on the water flow. I put brown bottles on it first but changed to a light green. That allowed the copper tubing to show inside the bottle. What do y'all think ?

Looking good! I'm trying to imagine how it looks with the water flowing.
I like the light green bottles I think :)

Thanks Netty. It looked pretty good today when I had it running. The bottles fill about half way up and then poor back into the barrel. I will have all the pipes and the pump covered with egg rock, and a submersible light shining up onto it from the bottom.

WOW that really is unusual! I think I prefer the brown bottles but that's only my opinion so go with what you prefer yourself. You must let us see more photographs once it's completed and with the water flowing. Are you going to put a white light in the bottom or maybe a colour changing submersible one?

Thanks Eileen, it's nice to meet everyone here on the stew. The light is white but comes with three different color lens. Doyle (GDC)

Looks great GDC, would love to see it running. Would it be possible to see a photo when the water is flowing out of the bottles?
