This garden chore is for those who relish in self-immolation. I gave up after five puncture wounds, trying to remove pups. Any other Agave growers here?

Agave angustifolia 'marginta'. One bad little plant.

    But so beautiful.

They sure are pretty... but I'd hate to do battle with that many of them.

These remind me of the Yucca plant, but that has serrated edges to the leaves  :-x  I would never have one in my yard. What part of the Agave are puncturing you? the leaf tip or something else?

    Oh well, I grow Agave...in pots :)
I have one Regular agave (calling it regular, cause if someone around here says they've got an "AGAVE" it usually is this one.)
It makes pups, but I pull them out when small, pot them in cups and trade or offer as gifts.
I still got about 5-6 small pups.
Too bad I can't grow them in the garden cause I would!
