Yes, I grow radishes. The year before last I planted some seeds in a modular tray, one seed per module. I did this to start the seeds off with the intention of transplanting them later. The tray was at the back of the top shelf in the greenhouse, so I forgot about them but continued watering. One day whilst moving trays around, I came across the radishes, which had actually fully grown in the modules and they were great.
I hope to have some soon...I have a lot of leaves. Trying different ways of growing them. Then again, I probably will sow more seeds.
I gave these a go last year - blue and red radishes https://www.thompson-morgan.com/p/radish-bluemoon-and-redmoon-mix-f1-hybrid/tt79397TM
French Breakfast Radishes are bright red, tipped with creamy white. http://www.rareseeds.com/french-breakfast-ra
not sure. google says they grow in "cool frost free" weather. and they grow FAST <30day from seed to harvest. i guess ill wait till may
I have already started seeing a few worm mounds but will wait till the end of Feb or first of March to plant,, if I decide to grow them this year ! I only like them cooked !
Thanks Petronius..... @adam.ca I sowed these in early November...they were really slow because of the conditions. When I moved them to the house and could really get used to the cold, they took off. These were sown in the small water bottles. You should see the others still in there..the leaves are huge. Will take pics tomorrow.
