Had hoped to get a little garden work done today but its raining too hard. The Daffs are getting beaten. Sure good to see the bright yellow on these dreary days.

I'm jealous. All I have to look at is snow, snow, and more snow. We are suppose to get MORE snow on Monday. Yesterday I saw 4 Redwing black birds and a pair of Sandhill cranes. They are in for a rude awakening being here this time of year. I hope they packed their winter cloths. :stew1:

I know how you feel Tooty. My daffs haven't flowered yet and already the snow has them flattened them on the soil. We're supposed to get even more snow tomorrow so they'll have little chance to recover. :(

Jewell, My New England eyes love your row of daffodils (whether they are beaten down or not!). Great idea to plant a long row like that, very pretty. I also like that they are variated colors. Very pretty. Hopefully they will bounce back up soon.

Poor babies. I'm sure they'll bounce right back for you.

Here some of the daffodil buds are still closed. One man remarked he did not remember such a late Spring.
