Real water footprint (42 gallons for just 1 slice of pizza)

    I was reading something online, (aimlessly drifting from page to page) - Until I came upon this:

    Really interesting read, as it shows us exactly how much freshwater is used in our food preparation. From seed, to harvest, to processing, till it reaches our plate. Since we all are always growing something, I just thought that sharing this here will be the right thing to do!

    Dozen eggs = 636 gallons.
    Pound of lettuce = 30 gallons.
    Loaf of bread = 288 gallons.
    Bar of chocolate = 317 gallons.
