I must see if they have some in our UK stores. If they do then I can think of a couple of folks who would love them for Christmas. :-D

    Toni,
I can't spell ditomaceous earth! I have to constantly look up the spelling of solanaceae !
Who was the cruel individual who made a gardening edition of Scrabble? Are the tiles pictures of plants? What do we do when the Latin names have more letters than there are on our little shelf?
Monopoly edition? I suppose Longview Gardens would be the most expensive real estate, and my garden would be the cut-rate Mediterranean place (did I spell that right?).

Jane, if you play with non-gardeners it really doesn't matter how you spell the words cause they won't know if it's spelled correct or not ;)

I never heard of a gardening edition for Scrabble. Do they put in extra letters ??? Like more Zs or Js or whatever. You would have to get really lucky to be able to make a play like 'diotomacious' earth [however it is spelled], and then have a spot to put it. If your opponent was any good at phonics, they might know you didnt spell it correctly.

I do not even like Monopoly... Some friends call it Monotony, and I agree. Though the neighbor kid likes us to play it with him...
