@mart , if you really want to try making something exotic - Then instead of Hummus or Falafel, try this everyday Pakistani recipe for Shami Kabaab. This is perhaps the most common food item in almost every home in my country. Of course, you can add or subtract your own ingredients to it also. So I wonder what will happen if we substituted ordinary green chilies with jalapenos? Anyhow, you can eat them with any type of bread. We usually eat with chapati, (which is tortilla by another name). Or naan, but you can also make burgers out it also - Which we over here call bun-kabaab, (the most common roadside food in all of Pakistan). Just make sure you have a good dip sauce to go with it. But if not, then feel free to use tomato ketchup - ENJOY!!!
