Recently we planted two new crape myrtles. They look like they are dying.. leaves brown and falling off. They were doing fine until we put the root stimulate on them. Could that be killing them?
Trying to post pics but it says my image is too large. Any suggestions??

What is your watering routine? Too much, too often will cause the Crape Myrtle leaves to do that.
I have only heard of using a root stimulater aka rooting hormone on cuttings that you want to propagate so it might be the cause of the trouble.

Leave them alone except for a little water 1 once per week. Don't even talk to them. No fertilizer. Those roots are aggressive and even burnt by rooting acid will try to grow. Being new they may be shocked also, but they are very hardy normally.

I agree,, just give them time !! Just because the leaves dry and fall off does not mean the plant is dead ! Summer is a stressful time to plant trees, or bushes of any kind !
