So sorry about your losses! I don't have a prediction, but hope you'll let us know what happens. Did you lose other plants?
It's never a waste to try and save your plants. If the roots were still alive then the plant should hopefully bounce back.
Does the same rule apply to geraniums too? Among all the geraniums I winterized after last season, one of them looks all dead and its stems seemed (soggy and black). I was about to throw it out when I saw that the stem just about the roots are green and hard. I cut off the stems and threw out all the dead part. There is about a cm remaining now. I stuck them to the ground in the garden yesterday just to see what happens. Who thinks this one will come back?
thank you I thank ALL my friends who have helped me. I'm watching ALL the weather reports in the USA and a great many things are happening. Sorry if I'm typing wrong but with 1 eye working its a problem. Friends sleep warm and goodnight ed
Ed, always worth it to try to save a plant. What do you think of Tina's question about her geranium? Do you think she should try to save it?
I was wondering the same thing purpleinopp, how is the plant doing? I don't have the patience to nurse the plants ...I hope it is thriving ed
