Some natives in our woods

    To me Hogweed is one of the most beautiful and graceful plants in the forest. I've always had it, always will. The bees love it so much.

    This picture is in our woodland. We strive to keep it native and chemical free. The number of birds we have has risen exponentially on our place since the red elderberrys moved in. We have Doug firs, hemlock, and many big leaf maple trees, all native and self sown. If you see a Himalayan blackberry it's because I haven't gotten to this area yet this year.
