    -2f, feels like -20, 71% humidity, wind WSW @ 12 MPH.

Had 11 deer laying on the hill side across the creek from the house this morning. They had been there a while as some were snow covered from the bit of snow that fell during the night.

With it being so cold and super bowl Sunday it will be a good day to ride snowmobile as only the hardy will be out.

Good heavens Al that's some snowfall!! We used to get snows like that here in Scotland but not any more. How will your bees survive in temperatures like that? You and Kare look after yourselves and keep warm.

Just as cold here in central Ohio, but not as much snow. The cold is supposed to last through Wed. and then back to normal temps in the 30's.

Too cold for me. I freeze at work all day in and out of the coolers and it's not nearly that cold.

    -2F, feels like -22F, 67% humidity, Wind W @ 14MPH.

Did ride the snowmobile yesterday for a little while. Kare is just getting over some type of cold bug going around I didn't ask her to go.
For fear of the puppies getting frost bite I only take them out just long enough to go potty. They are good kids and try to hold off rather than go on the papers like they were trained.

    -3F, feels like -16,67%humidity, wind WSW @ 9MPH.

Same 300+ schools closed in the surrounding area again today.
Midland Michigan made news yesterday by not cancleing school. Said they prepared for the childern. Well that is fine once the children are in the school. So sad for the ones waiting for a bus, or walking to school.
Even my grand daughter in Wisconsin had the day off school due to the below normal cold.

I'm ready for it, so think spring.
And this is coming from a winter lover.

Was sunny all day yesterday and today appears to be more of the same. Not near as many schools closed today as the last two days. Only one school in my county, they cite building problems.

Yes those are all honey bees clustered on the tree. It is a swarm Kare and I gathered in June 2006 which have provided us with much enjoy ment due to their antics.

Only 3 schools closed today in the tellies viewing area. All three were due to heating problems.

    Think spring ASAP.
