Hey guys here is the soil test from one of my plots. It was taken last year. I did their recommendations and will retake this year to see if it improved at all. Is this much calcium in the soil a concern? Please dont laugh at the results. Anyways to get better soil quickly?

seems you have low "N" Nitrogen?
that's probably was your biggest concern?
did you add bone meal to your soil? to fix that?
did you add anything that has P/K? you have more then enough, maybe even too much P-K?

how much did this test cost you?! where does one go get this test done??

not a bad price, maybe I'll do this test next year, for now ill assume the soil mix i put into my new raised beds will be more or less OK for the first season at least.

idk. probably not, and anyway there's nothing to do about it AFAIK.

I just use plain old commercial fertilizer 13-13-13 or 17-17-17 during the growing season ! Or you can plant a cover crop in the fall that adds nitrogen to the soil !
You can add some sulphur to help balance the calcium !

please bump this thread with your results from your 2019 test in April when you get it tested again.
and let us know exactly what you added to the soil in-between both these tests
it will be interesting to see if the plants from last year ate up the N-P-K and other minerals.
