Sorry if this has been posted before. What does everyone use to try and control squirrels. We don't live in a particularly woody area, but the oaks this year decided to produce about quadruple the amount of acorns, so we have a few in the backyard that feast on the acorns, and my garden. What is the most effective tool? I have a small dog that loves to chase and bark at them, but they keep coming back. And due to having the dog (Yorkiepoo, very manly dog) I want to stay away from animal urine as I am assuming she will go nuts.

    Thanks!

You could try fox of coyote urine sprinkled where you do not what the squirrels to go. I do not think your dog would pay to much attention to it. I know it didn't bother our little dog when I used it for Woodchuck control. Not to many other suggestions.
