I saw this today too and waited with baited breath thinking the squirrel was going to topple over. How it managed to stay upright I don't know.:headscratch: Bet it had a headache in the morning!!

A drunken squirrel is a happy squirrel, until the morning comes and he/she realizes what happened!
    Love that video, Sjoerd!

I thought you might have, Eileen. I kept waiting for the same thing. Haha. In the end I guess you could say that he could hold his liquor.

Jane, glad you liked this lil vid. I have seen other drunken squirrel vids where the squirrels kept falling off tree trunks or hopped around in the snow happy as a lark
I can remember seeing drunken storm birds ( waxwings) in the fall. They would fly into trees and as a kid, I could walk right up to them and pick them up right off the branches. Such lovely birds, those.

Years ago when I was in college there was a crab apple tree on the street next to the house. In the spring when the robins returned they would sit and eat the fermented fruit, then line up on a wire running into the house. As they sat they would wobble and occasionally fall off the wire. Then they’d return to the tree for more fruit. Easier to get back on the tree than the wire. Always wondered if they had hangovers. Guess the robins fit right in with the overindulgence of some of the youth on campus.:sete_003:
