I got these last year and decided to try to get them to sprout. They are Nymphea Caeralea - Blue Lotus.
The seeds are itty-bitty. I put them in a plastic container with bottled water on Feb. 5th and are keeping them under the grow light which also adds some warmth.
You aren't going to be able to tell it from the photos, but I actually see them changing. There's like a little ring of translucent something around the little seeds now.

It's amazing how many good sized plants come from teeny seeds. All that genetic info in such a tiny package

    You got me confused there!~
I thought LOTUS seeds were actually BIG like an acorn.
Then I added "blue" and I found a water lily ... confused again :)

When you look it up, it's listed by both Blue Lily and Lotus. Good thing I have the latin name Nymphea Caeralea... right Calin? ;)

Cheryl, you do realize that there is no pertinent information in our data base on this plant ;)
But you were given a misspelled species name ... it should be caerulea

    Nymphaea caerulea

Toni, if these seeds germinate and live... you can bet I'll add info! The spelling error was probably my fault... bad handwriting!
I just can't figure out how a plant can come from something so darn little! :D
