V- I -C- T- O- R- Y etc, etc. We popped out to the lottie to check for wind damage and to harvest the sugar snaps. There were a few strawbs that pulled me aside and asked to be taken home. What could I say; it would be rude of me to refuse, especially sonce they have recently done their best to redden-up in spite of the weather. when we got home it was time for tea and a something sweet. It was a chocolate cake with coconut shavings topped with one of the rescued strawbs. It was lovely to see. After supper we made quick and decadent work of the remaining fruits.
