Strong colours

    I went for a visit, and my friend has some really strong colours in her garden. Here are a couple of her Rhododendron:

    A Geranium with very striking foliage:

    This Trollius is mine, I think the green edge gives it a fuzzy look:

    It's pouring outside. We needed it, but rain always gives me a craving for lots of colour. :D

    Wow, your not kidding either, that is strong coloring on those flowers,,, but oohh so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

    I have never seen a Rhododendron that color before...it's absolutely gorgeous!

    Thanks all! :D She told me the name of that Rhododendron, but I can't remember the name of it now. I don't remember which Trollius we've got either. :rolleyes: I need a new brain!

    Thank you. I wouldn't mind a piece of that rhododendron myself. Wonder if I can get my friend to root a branch for me...

    How blue is that first rhodie please!! Just lovely. I have only just 'acquired' one from a garden I work in where a branch had layered itself and rooted. The owners told me to help myself and it is growing lovely by my pond, a white one. However, I WANT THAT BLUE ONE!!

    You know right away....when I see that shade of blue, I immediately start thinking how I can get one of those. ah ha ha. What is the name of that blue Rhododendron? :)
    That trollius of yours looks very nice. I can't wait for mine to produce a bud.
    I am quite jelous of your friend's little rhodo bush.
