I'm looking to find some plants that will grow UNDER the water of my lily pond. I had some Parrot Feather, but it just takes over too much.
    Any recommendations?
Shall I just check at the Pet/Fish store?
Will those plants survive in something like that instead of a controlled temperature aquarium?

We have garden centres here that sell aquatic plants. If you have one near you then ask them for oxygenating plants. There are quite a few varieties that stay submerged and are usually not too invasive. Avoid fairy moss though as it lies on the surface and multiplies like crazy!

Here is a link that may help you choose the right plants for you.

Thanks Eileen... I'll check out the site.
I did stop by the Pet/Fish store on the way home. I needed/wanted a couple more Comet Goldfish. I also picked out a couple of aquarium plants. I'm pretty sure they won't survive the winter, but until I figure out the proper plant(s) to get, these will do.
