Today is the day with the longest hours of daylight. Where has the time gone! Some things are early and some things are late. The blooming of my flowers are all over the place this year. Many things are late in blooming in the flower garden, but I am seeing some colour at last. I only took time to take a few pics of some bloomers with my fone. Here is a Geranium that seeded out--"Splish-Splash": I have Thalictrum flavum sprinkled over the plot to give it some high points: The roses are a sight for sore eyes this year...and their scent heavenly: The recently cleaned plot has recently been cleaned and some of the older plants are opening up. The Lychnis chalcidonica is looking good albeit stunted this year. It has the exciting common name of "Burning Love" in Dutch. On the foreground are white Phlox on which I performed the Chelsea chop. To the left is Cephalaria gigantea that I have been letting become larger for a couple of years. Finally this time, me an ancient Clematis that has been with me for donkey's years. That's it for this time. Hopefully the summer will be a bloomy one here this year. We shall see.
Thanks so much, NETTY-- Interesting to hear that you had stunted Lychnis this year as well. Thank you PETRONIUS. Thanks 2-OF -- Glad that you like the foto's. The Chelsea Chop I have written about a couple of times on here...but maybe before your time. Haver a look: https://www.gardenstew.com/threads/extending-your-plants-blooming-period.15269/#post-140901
