Yesss! When we get above 10 deg C/50 deg F things are really hurrying up around here.

The red trilliums are opening up:

    The small tulips:

    The small Anemone blanda:

    Corydalis "Blushing Girl":

And "Anne Marie". Bought this last year, and didn't expect her to bloom already:

The single Sanguinaria canadense is also blooming:

I'm a happy little piglet now, wallowing in dirt. :D

Thanks both! Biita, my shoes are outside, and won't get inside anymore. I use old ones for gardening, and after one season they're ruined. Eileen, I'll do that.

a good vareity of color and plants. Your tulips look similiar to mine. Do you have short stems also? You r last pict. (This sounds stupid) but do you have those as regular plants in your yard because they look similiar to what we have and they grow wild in the woods and I didn't even know the name of them.
Maybe I have learned something today. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Wrennie. :D Petunia, they're just little ones, about 20 cm tall - that's 8 inches - including the flowers. And, yes, I think those Sanguinaria are wild flowers in the US. You call them bloodroot. Like the trillums, they're loved garden plants here.

I'm so happy you have warmer temperatures Droopy! Nice weather puts gardeners in a great mood too!
Very nice pictures. I'll have to check and see if there are any Trilliums up yet.

Thanks for showing these pics. Well, you are certainally showing some good stuff here. You must have uncountable varieties in your garden.
I enjoy seeing what you have. The Trilliums and small tulips are stars, aren't they. :p

Love the trilliums. Mine have leaves here now, and all of the natives should be in full bloom by mid May. Nothing better (except maybe the smell of lilacs, or crabapples in full bloom, or a big patch of daffodils, or...) Thanks for posting!

Thank you all. We've had dry weather for ten days running now, but I think we ran out of luck. Kaseylib, this is early for almost everything shown, but I'm not complaining. Now you got me pining for the smell of lilacs! They're still just tiny buds.
