Never knew such a sweet and delicious pineapple existed. The whole fruit is just yum! 20160429_190734.jpg
The fruit is just as big as an apple and were sold with the skin removed so I have no chance yet to try planting it. It is not cheap, about $1 US each and is sold in a pack of 3.

Now I am trying to get a fruit with the skin and crown on so I can try planting it. Have you seen one of this?

I've never seen one either KK, but it really looks and sounds interesting. Did it pull apart like an orange or did you have to cut it to eat it?

Yes indeed Caroline it made a great appetizer and we also had it as a fruit salad. :) Yum!!!

No Eclecticgarden, it cannot be pulled apart it is exactly like a regular pineapple except that it is small and sweet!

About the right size I'd say. The big ones tend to be too big. it does look yummy indeed.

Hehe!!! Philip I just learned from my children that it is called lollipop pineapple here :)

Marlingardener if you were to visit this part of the world, put it on your list as a must try!

I'd love to try one (or two!) of them. Fresh pineapple is always good but the ones here are too big for the just the two us.
