The American Robins in the garden

    We have the robins nesting in the garden each year.

    This is the male and the female, the male is darker.

    This is the female feeding the youngsters with some berries I put out.

    Both sexes of robins here look exactly the same making it hard to know whether they are male or female. The youngsters do have the speckled breasts like the ones in your photograph. They certainly seem to appreciate those berries!!

    We have a few over here that both look the same, chickadee's and nuthatches are two.
