It is a ready to build one in a box. This is the yard so far. I am getting it today but much work still to be done. I am finishing removing the grass and then need to level the dirt. then will build it and finish off with a border and mulch. from the porch view ( photo / image / picture from newgrow's Garden ) this is it's new home ( photo / image / picture from newgrow's Garden ) The swing set itself is about 20 foot by 8 foot but they say it needs a 6 foot all the way around "safe zone" so I am digging up a 32 by 20 foot area. More to come! I can't wait to see her face when it's done. p.S. That is the bird feeder I built and she painted last year in the first pic.. Tons of birds mainly blue jays and robins but a few here and there are different.
Looks like a lot of hard work but it's going to be well worth the effort. I'd love to see a photograph of your daughter's reaction to the new swing when she sets eyes on it.
What a great story! I hope you'll show us how it goes for you and your little girl. What better use of a yard than that! Lots of happy memories will be made on that swingset.
Almost done! About one more good day. my daughter is scared of it now.Guess it is because she can't tell what it is yet. This is my father-n-law helping me and the little one is Cameron my 27 month old who it is for! more to come when I am done. I can't wait!! Getting there ( photo / image / picture from newgrow's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from newgrow's Garden ) This is the little one ( photo / image / picture from newgrow's Garden )
You've certainly been working hard. I'm sure your daughter will love it once she realises just what it is. I'll look forward to another picture when its completed.
