About an hour ago, I went down to the lake with the camera, hoping to get some pictures of the Eagles. They are restless in the afternoon. While waiting there, I heard a Sea Gull calling very urgently. I turned to look, and there, about halfway down the lake, was a Sea being chased by a bird of pray. We have Ospray on the lake, and that was my first thought. Here are 3 shots of the chase. Sorry the pictures aren't better but the birds were nearly a mile away. By the way, the Sea Gull got away

Blimey that seagull was lucky and must lead a charmed life. I feel quite sorry though for the bird of prey as he had to go without his meal.

I'm sure the bird of pray, I think it was an Osprey, got his meal, as they are great fishermen. The still shots didn't do the chase justice, those 2 birds made meneuvers that were amazing. I wish I had been closer.

That is amazing to see. I've been fortunate enough to watch eagles and hawks chasing birds. As you say, it's amazing to witness the acrobatics.
