After all the pond building, I had a lot of leftover liner, and started using it for various projects, few that have lasted more than a year. But it was all fun. This little waterfall just looked stupid, although it looks pretty good in a photo. This little pond is in front of my porch. It was cute. And it's now replaced by that same 40 gallon stock tank and a prefab waterfall. Next, I used leftover liner to put a pond in front. It was very cool, but I forgot to put carpet under it, and the moles chewed through it. Easy come, easy go. This fountain was so cool. But, all I had was a grill grate, which was not strong enough to support the weight of the water. So it broke. I plan to rebuild this, but haven't found the grate I need yet. This one will be coming back. Replaced it with a bowling ball, the birds loved it. The ball got filthy and I got tired of cleaning it, so it didn't last long. The fountain out front had a bowling ball bubbler for a while too... And finally, we use liner to make a drainage ditch for our downspouts. One in back and one in front.
Nope, it's bigger now! I took the 40 gallon stock tank that was used in back previously, and put it there with the prefab waterfall I found at a garage sale. The impatiens are planted bare root in the waterfall. However, the one that had the rocked slope with the mole holes is gone. I have roses there now.
