After having failed in my first attempt in growing potato, I had been out the whole morning looking for the perfect potato to plant :D. Now when I closed my eyes I can only see potatoes :). After lots of potato inspection I settled on this one which is from a higher end supermart.

This potato is from China and it is Holland type according to the supermart. There are a few spuds on it and this time I did not put it by the window instead on top of my computer cpu where I think it is not so humid.

Wish me luck people and I'm keeping my :fingerscrossed:.

Just checked it and it is getting a little soft. Hope it is not starting to rot from the inside.

That doesn't sound good....but when spuds become older, they will become soft. IOt doesn't have to mean that they are rotten inside...but you do want to get them in the soil soon though.

Thanks for the info Sjoerd, just checked the potato and it is still good but the spud is just the same as day one when I brought it home. I think I'll hold it a little longer until I see some life in the spuds. :)
