Well, it's as cold as can be, but things are happening on the lottie.
The daffs are creeping up in spite of the cold and snow. Gail's are further than ours, but hang on ...I'm catching up.

I found her little footprints in the snow...:whistling::

I reckon that it is a stoat or weasel. I have seen one in our quartier of the complex. Too bad the prints are already a couple of days old.

One of our plum trees is doing alright and has lots of buds.

The garden looks a bit sad and dreary...but the Primula is smiling through it all:

Isn't it nice to see the first signs of spring showing through the snow? It really cheers you up to see those first green shoots and flowers. :) I rarely see stoats or weasels around here but I have seen there paw prints in snow and they look exactly like the ones you've photographed. He or she should help to keep the mice and rabbits under control.

    Thanks CAYU.

EILEEN--- Oh, I'm glad to hear that you have some too. I am very happy as...like you said--they will help keep down mice, rabbits and the like.

Yea GAIL--it really is strange, but I was actually ready for it after the weather surprise last season.
