The spring time yard sales are starting. The sun was shining this morning though rain was predicted. The first one was cancelled due to rain. I guess the put the sign out last night so they wouldn't have to get up so early. The second one was okay but we only bought a Texas atlas. The next one wasn't listed in the paper but we saw a girl putting a sign on the main corner to their house so we turned and went to it. It was the best out of the bunch and we bought several things. yard sale finds ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) tools from yard sale ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) wheel barrow and folding chairs! ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) We went back later and bought a nice rocking chair and a weed eater and a rock splitter (?). There are two rather large ones listed for tomorrow if it doesn't decide to rain. It's really clouding up with black clouds now so maybe. I'm not sure if rain is in the forecast for tomorrow or not. dooley
WOW Dooley you did really well at that yard sale!! I'd love to find one with such useful stuff. Sadly the gardeners around here hang onto everything that's at all useful.
have bought many of my tools at auctions and yard sales. Had to come back with pick up few times -barns doors.
Wow! I'd love a few yard sales like that one. In the second photo there is a two-pronged tool with a shorter handle. What does it do? I've never seen one before.
I stopped at one the other day. Clothes and household items. Booo!! I want to find goodies like you did! Wow... that's some good finds, especially those buckets and tools.
dooley, You didn't answer this question and I am very interested also. Bet it would dig up potatoes nicely.
The boy at the sale said it was for fishing and dr called it a frog gig. I will use it for prying up those stubborn tree roots that are all over the yard. dooley
Good stuff Dooley! I like your new stuff! The sale season is starting here too. Love the sales with tools and such.
