I have a simple rule. It's mostly regarding food preparation and consumption. But I think it applies everywhere. Of it takes longer for you to prepare a meal, in comparison to the time it takes for eating it. Than you're doing a disservice to yourselves, (as you're working too hard for nothing, which in the end is destined to end up in the sewage system anyway). Now there's a loophole into this, which is that you can devote more time to cooking - Provided that you how make it in enough quantity for it to last several servings. So this way you now didn't spent much time cooking it, (if what you made in a few hours lasts a week, where you just kept eating portions from it). So this is my formula. Which I can apply just about everywhere. Here it's a global event (allegedly), so it makes sense to devote such time and dedication for an outfit. However in the practical world, it has zero applications. Plus it looks ridiculous too, while some look hideous as well - Which no self-respecting lady would want to wear in reality. Therefore I see this as total detachment from reality. As it has absolutely no application for anyone anywhere in the world - At best I might watch it as comedy, of how far some people can get unhinged.
