    Yanked out the maters today. They just weren't ripening or growing. The Robins and Hummers are gone also.

    I'm going to get rid of my tomato plants too CK. They are still producing flowers but they're not coming to anything and the fruits they do have are hard and green and won't ripen. :(
    Our robins are more in evidence at this time of year as they look for food in our gardens now that autumn has arrived and insect numbers are on the decrease.

    I pulled mine out about two weeks ago. I hate to see summer end.

    I left the Mr. Stripey's in cause they looked like they might make something. The peppers still might turn, other than that, all else comes out this weekend and goes through the shredder.

    I'm starting to look at the plans for a hoop house, like in Mother Earth News. Yeah, I'm an old hippie!
