Had a big batch of Robins in the yard this morning. I am pretty sure that these are ones that are headed south for the winter. They all ganged around the bird bath, drinking and bathing. They spent about an hour out there and then all took off together.

We usually don't get robins until late Sept. Perhaps we'll get them earlier this year, if the weather cooperates.
Keep us posted as to what visits your yard and feeders. You are our "early warning system"!

Yup I agree. I have been watching my humming bird feeder for the past week and have noticed that we no longer have any male Ruby Throats coming to it. I know that the guy's usually leave before the girls. But this seems really early to me. How about any one else? :stew1:
