    Sjoerd Err ..Ahhh… Mighty Oak . ? I just noticed you have been on this site since 2006 . Why you were just a kid then.
    A question for ya…Are those the crocus that saffron is harvested from?

    I agree with Anniekay they are a welcome gorgeous sight to see.

    Yes, they sure do look very similar to saffron flowers... Won't grow in my semi desert coastal environment, (unless in a climate controked greenhouse), but up in the northern areas of my country, like in the Kashmir region - They are a cash crop.
