This is Patches and Gizmoe who are the newest additions to our little hobby farm. They are Fainting goats and they really do stiffen up and fall over if they get scared or startled. They are both about 4 months old and have stolen our hearts. I wrote more about them on my blog. Goats are like potato chips. You can't have just one. :-D

Hi Tooty...they are very sweet. I would love to have them at my house...but not enough room. Enjoy your new additions.

What handsome little fellows Patches and Gizmoe are. Neither wonder they've found their way into your heart.

Fainting goats--just don't say "boo"! They are adorable, and have certainly found a great home.
Stratsmom, "cute little kids"? Subtle, very subtle :D .

Thanks all. Marlingardener- that would be a great subtitle to my post. These kids would fall over at the drop of a hat. Makes them very easy to catch. ;)

Love your cute little goat kids! I think goats are fun. When we lived in Colorado, we had a couple of goats. They were pretty entertaining. They always seemed to be so lively in the winter months. They loved the snow, and would get frisky. Have fun with them!

Philip they both are neutered males so they have really no goat smell to them. The Billies are the ones who smell really bad because they pee on themselves during mating season. But the girl goaties think they smell so sweet. Yup we love our goats.

Kay glad you know the fun in owning goats. Our goats hate rain and aren't to fond of the snow. They will only go out in the snow if I shovel paths for them to walk in. They know how to wrap me around their little goat hooves. :stew1:

    Thank you Netty. :stew1:
