This one was on the sale table, didn't have a tag in the pot but did have a sticker on the pot with the name. I transplanted it to another pot yesterday and instead of keeping the pot I tossed it in the trash can.
Went out a few minutes ago to write down the name for posting a photo on GSPlants, realized that the pot was in the trash that was being emptied into the huge trash truck just as I walked out the door.

Anyone have any ideas as to what the plant is? I am pretty sure I will recognize the name when I hear it.

Nope, not rosemary. I've seen that plant but don't think I can grow it. If I only got my mind working... I like the name you put on it, though. Whatsit. :D

Are the leaves stiff to the touch? It reminds me of a small shrub.

Nope not Rosemary, I have two giant ones in my garden already.

Droopy the leaves a very soft when you run a stem thru your hand. It isn't going to get much larger than it is if I remember the info on the sticker correctly. Funny, that I remember but not the name

Nope, not Alyssum. This is an upright plant with no fragrance.

I think I will go out to the garden center and put us all out of my misery :-D

Thanks for trying to ID it for me.
After an expensive trip thru the garden center I found the name of the plant...
Coleonema pulchellum Pink Breath of Heaven

And from doing a search just now,I learned that it is not the small shrublet the sticker on the pot led me to believe. So it will have to eventually be transplanted to a large spot in the garden. Thankfull it takes either sun or shade so I have the perfect spot where my one and only Hydrangea died last year.

Oh thank you for telling me! :D I spent some time leafing through my books, but checked "small shrubs" and that's not a small shrub really, is it? :D

Thanks for the follow up, I just looked it up and its a very attractive plant, I like the combination of the foilage and small pink flowers...and its drought tolerent.
