Wow, last week when we were taking a golf cart ride through our woods we spotted a Scarlet Tanager. I was so happy to see one in the wild. Then last week two male Scarlet Tanagers showed up under my feeder. I was so glad I had my camera at hand. One hardly ever see's these guys out in the forest. But then to have them show up at my feeder was such a thrill.

Wow beautiful bird...the first time we had a scarlet tanager was in our backyard surrounded by woods years ago...
Again I was so glad to share this beautiful bird with you. It was here again this morning eating suet at our feeders. Who new they liked suet so much.
