This morning we had an egret, a black bellied whistling duck, and a great blue heron at our pond, just hanging out together! We've had all three, just not all three at once, and together.
Gosh you were lucky managing to get all three in the one photograph. Usually, when I try to do this, one of them flies off before the shutter goes down on the camera.
Eileen, the birds were out in the pasture near the pond, and we didn't know the whistling duck was there until we saw the photo! Thank heavens the camera's eye saw more than we did.
