William Blake seems to have written a poem about this rose, the Bengal Tiger. It changes colors as it ages, blooms prolifically, and is easy-care. It is "burning bright" in our front bed now.

Gosh Jane that's a real beauty. I can see why it's called Burning Bright. :headbang:

Eileen, the rose's name is "Bengal Tiger", and a portion of each purchase of the rose goes to saving Bengal tigers. How great is that--getting a great rose and helping save tigers?

Thanks Jane. I can just see folks faces if I were to ask for 'Burning Bright.' That'll teach me to read things properly. :smt053 Now I won't appear quite so stupid when I go looking for one!! :smt023

Netty, it has a light fragrance, not a walk by and smell the roses fragrance, but a stick your nose up close and sniff fragrance. We have two roses that change color, but Bengal Tiger is the most striking.
