Buddy, the male and Timi, the other ginger like each other. They cuddled up on a mat on the patio and had a good nap. (Both are neutered/spayed, have all their shots, eat the very best dry cat food, and get treats from the table--beef stew Gaston from last night's dinner). Don't feel sorry for them sleeping on a door mat--it is their choice! If they were any cuter, I could not stand it!
Look like spoiled rotten cats to me ! Aren`t they supposed to catch mice and gophers and such ? Must be Union cats !
Cats always know the best places to take a nap. A friend of mine had two cats just like Buddy and Timi. They were called Jaffa and Marmalade because of their gorgeous ginger fur.
Mart, Buddy doesn't hunt (unlike many Texas males) and Timi couldn't catch cold if she tried! The rodent population is taken care of by the two calicos, Sophia and Cali. They hunt together and are quite a team! Eileen, we weren't as inventive as your friend when it came to naming the four kittens that moved in on us. Sophia loves Italian food and glues herself to the kitchen door when I'm cooking Italian, plus she has Sophia Loren eyes. Cali is short for calico, Timi is short for Timid because she was but isn't any longer, and Buddy because he was best friends with BG, who went to live at a farm down the road. BG was incorrigible and was a bad boy. Now he's being a bad boy about two miles away, and from what I've been told, is making a Black Lab's life a torment.
