Beautiful spot!! Does your son know all of your Stew buddies have seen him in his American Gothic shot?
The green agricultural equipment looks like a hay bailer....then again, a city slicker said that. Jerry
CM, my brother, father and I reckon the machine is definitely a harvester of some sorts. What it is harvesting is another question. Sugar beet perhaps?
Barb & Donna S., these photos were taken in Sardinia/East Concord NY. South east of Buffalo. Beautiful country there. All the roads going east/west are rolling hills due to glacial action eons ago. Strats--No my son has not twigged to his photo being published in Garden Stew yet. Shhhhhh!
Beautiful photo of the daylilies and pond! And you're right... that dock is very inviting... just makes you want to run right down and jump in!
Cayuga, I was born in Buffalo NY and raised not far from there. I miss the rolling hills and fall color but not the snow.
Donna S, I was born in Buffalo too & lived in Williamsville until I turned 7. My family has kept this old farm as vacation property ever since. It is a beautiful area of the country, but you are right, the winters are awful!
