Wow, your through a window pics come out way better than mine. Such great shots Sherry. I got a pic of a purple finch yesterday. Sorry it's not as clear as yours.

The brightness of the sun is important...I am shooting through blinds (the slats) so if you ever see a cloudy area at the top of the picture or below, it is the blinds. I like early morning but then I have shade on the tray at times from the roof. I don't think I could get this close outside so I get more things to shoot at this way. Keep trying different angles, my megapixels on this camera is very low. I brought back an old camera to play with for a while....

I'm just using a small pocket camera so that has something to do with it I'm sure. We do have a nice digial camera, but we've not been able to find the battery since moving (2 years ago). So I'm just doing the best I can. I really enjoy your pics though, so keep 'em coming!

I think yours is pretty good for a small camera, I never tried it with one through the window but all of my cameras don't have a very high megapixel....I buy them as they are bringing out higher numbered ones to save money.

Great pictures Sherry and Terry. I wouldn't attempt to take photographs through my windows as they obviously aren't as clean as yours.

Lovely bird and squirrel selection, Sherry.
Have they started nesting there yet, or are they still in the courtship phase?
Boy, wouldn't I like to haver cardinals over here.

I am not sure what is going on but I got the first 2 replys but not any after that... I will have to make sure things are all clicked if we have to do it every time.

    Thank you...

Sjoerd...I am not sure about the squirrels. they always seem to be chasing one another... ;) .... I do have the male cardinal feeding the female cardinal so they are still courting...spring is in the air but it is still chilly here...frost again for the next 2 nights..
